- Assist the Production Supervisor/Plant Manager in supervising daily production operations.
- Monitor production line equipment, supplies, product quality, and safety.
- Assemble and pack finished goods according to specifications.
- Track production progress and report any issues for prompt resolution.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following safety regulations.
- Analyze production orders and create schedules.
- Inspect parts and products for quality assurance.
- Recommend improvements in production methodology and equipment performance.
- Resolve work problems and assist workers in problem-solving.
- Maintain time and production records.
- Participate in Employee Recognition and other planned employee events.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of production shift lead experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Forklift and Skid Steer experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety implementation.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
