Summary: Cuts and Assembles materials for Wooden Crates & Skids to specifications provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
Cuts all materials on radial arm saws, panel saws, and table saws.
Performs repetitive assembly-type functions using pneumatic and hand tools.
Organizes workstations for maximum productivity.
Builds completed boxes/skids in accordance with specifications.
Operates forklift as required.
Operates any equipment needed to perform the job.
Performs related duties as need or required by management.

Education and/or Experience: Less than high school education.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Must be able to read a tape measure.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand. The work is repetitive. The employee is constantly required to use their hands and fingers to handle and/or feel objects, tools. The employee is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch. They are required to talk and hear.
The employee must regularly lift, move, or stack up to 75 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working near industrial equipment in a warehouse environment. The warehouse is normally a minimum of 55 degrees during the winter months. The warehouse is not air-conditioned and temperatures can reach or exceed outside temperatures during the summer months. The employee will be working near/around industrial saws, industrial forklifts, and various industrial/pneumatic tools. This is a construction environment; therefore, there is sawdust/airborne particulate matter present. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
