Payroll Coordinator

We are hiring a Payroll Coordinator for a Union company in Jacksonville.
Pay is between $20 to $24/hr.

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for all payroll functions and related tasks.
Knowledge of the Sage 300 system preferred.


  • Gather, enter, and proof weekly payroll within the company payroll system to accurately process weekly payroll
  • Calculate weekly payroll incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc
  • Calculate benefits, tax, deductions, and commissions
  • Direct deposits and weekly check runs
  • Prepare direct deposit information for transmittal to the bank before established deadlines
  • Monitor banking activity
  • Prepare and distributes weekly A/R invoices
  • Oversee management of rapid pay card management and resolves issues as needed
  • Management of state and federal garnishment requests
  • Perform administrative duties related to the processing of payroll, including verifying employment history, reporting, unemployment processing, filing, and detailed record keeping
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related duties as needed.
